Located on a quiet backland site bordering the High Street, the proposal comprises the creation of ground floor living spaces with a private garden and three bedrooms. The design amplifies existing qualities of the constrained plot by forming generous double height living spaces and bringing in the afternoon sun through a series of high level windows.
The building volume and internal spaces have been carefully arranged to provide privacy while allowing views towards the surrounding mature trees.
